@SolbergJohnsen When you add qualifiers — Moderna specifically, at specific ages — you get a diff answer than when you speak generally, as Joe did, about vaccines for young males, which remain safer than Covid
@SolbergJohnsen Yes, you’re misunderstanding the above tweet. I’m still talking only about myocarditis—which there is, indeed, a lower risk of getting from Covid compared to from the vaccines
@_evelynrae @BenDavisCP Can you direct me to where the Australian government promoted and shared it? Do you mean Victoria? Do you know the difference?
@_evelynrae Right, so the Australian government didn’t make the ad, or fund it. An independent advocacy group made it, which, in turn, gets some funding from the Victorian Government, which almost certainly knew nothing about the ad while it was in development
@_evelynrae Can you direct me to the government source of this? Looks kinda dodgy
@CathyYoung63 He wasn’t, trust me. I’ve since gone down a rabbit hole on this! 😮💨
@KeithOlbermann Keith, I’m Rogan’s recent guest. Can you follow so we can DM? Wanna ask you something. Cheers
I lived with the chieftain of a little village in #Tonga for a month when I was eighteen. Met the princess. Slaughtered a wild pig. Made amazing friends.
Last night, Sydney briefly got a tsunami warning. I was shattered to see that Tongans bore the brunt.
Ofa atu, Tonga 😢 🇹🇴 twitter.com/marinerfagaiav…
Should transgender women, who went through puberty as biological males, compete in women’s sports? That’s just one of the fiery issues that intersex expert @AliceDreger, who advised the Olympic Games, dives into.
It’s my first podcast of 2022! Listen now: apple.co/327Ydka
@PaediatricsDoc One of my faves. Mitchell is an absolute master. Drifted away from Utopia Avenue halfway through though, unfortunately
@Jon_Parsons1 I’m ashamed to say I’ve never gotten past the first fifty pages. Hilarious but I couldn’t stay gripped?
@AdamCFuller @damiencave Can’t wait to read it. @damiencave, I read your Times column about nippers while I was in New York, gazing out over the Manhattan skyline on a sub-freezing evening, a few weeks ago. As an Aussie who lived most of his adult life in NYC it made me so wistful. Great work.
@drpennypalmer I’m ashamed to say I meandered away from The Overstory halfway through. Does Bewilderment have a more consistent narrative point-of-view? I didn’t like the sheer volume of different stories being set up for so long
@iammarkcarnegie Franzen’s new novel (maybe his best yet) and a curiously weird Chilean scientific novella, When We Cease To Understand the World. I read a terrific Hiaasen in my twenties but never went back, assuming they’re all variants on the same Florida gumshoe tale. Any stand-outs?
