"What's the point of the vaccine if you still get #COVID19?" Well, I had it once before the vaccine and was sick for 2 months, ended up in the ER with partially collapsed lungs, was left with asthma. I had it once post-vaxx, and it was a mild flu. Was feeling fine after a week.
It's an entirely different beast with the vaccine. Night and day. And that's the point.
@juliaioffe When you got it post-vax, were you boosted?
@juliaioffe The vax is superior to any other treatment. Period. End of story. And it is fast, free and safe.
@juliaioffe Julia this is rational explanation. The sad part folks who ask what's the point will never accept any answer even though most them would have taken 10 other vaccines when they were young. Even after two years vaccine importance has to be explained, it is a sad situation.
@juliaioffe Just waiting for the trolls to tell you it was the natural immunity and not the vax.
@juliaioffe Hahaha. I’m not an anti-vaxer by any means but this is a really dumb thing to say. You must realize you’ve made at least an equal case for no vaccination right? Or nah?
@juliaioffe @KFILE I had the same experience except I did not end up in the hospital. And I have never been vaccinated.
@juliaioffe I’m not medically trained but I think your natural immunity after your first infection had probably a lot to do with you having mild symptoms after your second infection. Please don’t shoot me - I’m vaccinated…
@juliaioffe Ok good for you. People should have the option of taking or not taking the jab.
