We are disappointed to report that the Pardon & Parole Board informed the Jones family this evening that tomorrow's clemency hearing is postponed. This is frustrating for them & for Julius, who has been waiting 20+ yrs to tell his story. We hope to hear more from the Board soon.
Tomorrow, Julius and his legal team will make the case for his clemency.
We need EVERYONE to pray and take action. Contact the Pardon & Parole Board and at Gov. Stitt at justiceforjuliusjones.com/action and raise your voice for #JusticeForJulius
In an interview last week, the Attorney General told me, "I think the pardon and parole board is functioning as it should. I may disagree with it's decisions, but it's five individuals appointed to that board who are entitled to have their own opinions." Barry has more @ 10. twitter.com/BarryMangold/s…
