Still amazing to me the growth of Jalen Hurts after leaving Alabama. He hit a clear ceiling in Tuscaloosa, then almost won a Heisman at Oklahoma, and now in the MVP race leading arguably the NFL’s best team. 🤯 👏 👊

@jwlowery29 No, he ran into Tua at Bama, only can play one QB at a time

@jwlowery29 His last season at Alabama, he actually looked greatly improved under Sark. Then he went to OU and did what I think most of us thought he would as a starter there. Most of his improvement has been in the NFL though. He looked night and day different form his rookie season.

@jwlowery29 So proud of Jalen and the hard work he has done to achieve the success he has!

@jwlowery29 Jalen Junior year he showed signs of improvement but couldn’t beat out Tua he began to read defenses better and didn’t tuck and run if the first guy wasn’t open

@jwlowery29 Uncommon drive and self-discipline, by all measures a fine teammate and never a hint of anything other than outstanding character. It’s no wonder why he is a natural leader.

@jwlowery29 The only ceiling he hit at Alabama was they went with a QB they thought was better. Go back and watch the windows Hurts hit in the Georgia game when he saved the SEC championship.

@jwlowery29 And in that MVP race with his buddy Tua. Amazing to watch!

@jwlowery29 Part of that argument is against a Miami team led by the guy Hurts lost his job to at Bama.

@jwlowery29 And I believe he should have been treated better by Saban !!
