REMINDER: Less than 10% of Biden’s infrastructure bill went to real infrastructure like roads and bridges.
@laurenboebert “Real infrastructure,” should be replaced with traditional infrastructure. Even then, that claim is still false. As usual, your not thinking outside your gun safe. Broadband to rural areas, especially in Colorado, is critical infrastructure. Rural America matters.
@laurenboebert The bill added $550B in *new* infrastructure spending over the next 10 years. One can debate if ports, airports, upgrading energy grids (hey, Texas!), or replacing lead water pipes is 'real' infrastructure. Clearly $110B on roads & bridges is more than 10% of $550B. Just saying
@laurenboebert You spent less than 10% on your education so there’s that. Besides these things you state are not true.
@laurenboebert I’m all for a real infrastructure bill because infrastructure improvements are needed. About 500 billion was for real infrastructure and the other 700 billion was for Democratic social projects. They bought Republican votes with more money allocated to their states.
@laurenboebert Uncle Joey - example of stewardship ✅
@laurenboebert Meanwhile, Abbot shifted funds around to pay for a wall with the $35 billion Biden gave him and the $1.5 billion that Biden convinced Mexico to pay for border security.
