Back to running daily in Austin heat. 13 miles, 2 hours. First hour is meditation. Second hour is listening to an audiobook, currently The Gulag Archipelago by Solzhenitsyn. The face in the pic is result of 100 degree heat & listening to accounts of torture in the Gulag.
@lexfridman That book is incredible. I was often wondering in recent years: does nobody in Russia read Solzhenitsyn?
@lexfridman Ugh, fine Lex, I’ll go for a run in the morning. Stop staring through my soul now.
@lexfridman Coming from another Russian, why always so serious? I used to be this way, but then realized I should smile more.. game changer. Would love to see your next picture with a smile!
@lexfridman Come run the River Hills/Cuernavaca loop sometime. 6.5 miles of hills.
@lexfridman Are you doing all 3 volumes or the abridged?
@lexfridman My favorite Romanian, @beniaminmincu would have some insights. Have you had a chance Lex to see what's he is about? I believe he would be a great guest.
@lexfridman The closer we are to the truth the more we see the lies. Being good and following that really does open our eyes and gives us more capacity to feel more pain. To learn about our selfishness as a culture.
