My honest take on the Avs They are either going to beat the Jets in 6 and win the cup or get embarrassed in 5. They are better than they are playing now and their team is built to survive mediocre goaltending, especially post deadline. No cogs on PK though please.
Watched the Saving Sakic special, then had to watch Air Force One. Saving Sakic was a decent look, uplifting and nice little peak into the front office side of things. Air Force one is back in my top 5 movies of all time. Incredible.

The avs are playing now like they did when they folded to the kraken. The difference is this team should be better than the team that folded to the kraken. And they aren't. Toews and MacKinnon and Makar sure are saying things this season but no one is listening.

Betting against the avs today when the jets were underdogs was the easiest bet of my life.
Never been more sure that the Avs will lose in the first round then right now.
Saw John Tavares at the rink when taking my son to practice today. Turns out I don't know what John Tavares looks like without hockey gear on.
The Avs want home ice advantage against the jets because Winnipeg doesn't have an airport so they have to walk to Denver.

Avs aren’t the only playoff team with goalie concerns. Difference here is that even with a .900 save % for Vasi, TB is giving up 2.87 GAA. For Georgiev his ..897 is giving up 3.02 GAA. Avs need better goaltending AND shot suppression.

I don’t know if it’s lack of discipline or lack of heart but this group doesn’t have “IT” to matter in a postseason. It’s more than just goaltending, though that’s been an anchor dragging them down
I don't know if it would have helped with how Georgiev played in the 3rd, but I really don't get the love for Cogliano on the PK. Not his fault but if it was my call I'd not play him there.
