@mattxiv This reminds me of the time I was invited on a "ski trip," which turned into 2 hours of skiing on day one, and an entire weekend of being made to do religious exercises and games at a little lodge in the middle of nowhere. Nowhere to leave to. Religious people have no shame.
@mattxiv @PaulDelaware Honey, call the lawyers, some heads need to roll. My kid, not yours, don't have me sign a permission slip that does not have the true destination. All involved should be suspended; you cannot not teach others to be truthful if you are not truthful.
@mattxiv Is that a Rolling Stone article? I can't seem to find it anywhere...
@mattxiv Isn't defrauding people in this fashion supposed to be not only a tort but also a crime? But I guess laws don't apply against you if your victims are underage; that seems to be the de facto doctrine of our so-called justice system. Absolutely disgusting.
@mattxiv I read the article, which you failed to post here, and it reads like a big nothing. There actually was a job fair. But a mother/chaperone said that it wasn’t the main focus of the field trip. And one gay student had a bucket of water poured on him by another student. Big deal.
