Politicians should make significantly more money. The incentives are all wrong. Pay the President $40mil/year and see the candidates. No need for backroom deals or bribery.
A (white) wedding guest told me that she didn't want to wear Indian clothes to our wedding because she thought it could be considered cultural appropriation. It's appreciation not appropriation - I love it when people wear Indian clothes.

Bold proposal: It's time to get rid of rice in the mission burrito. People are increasingly carb-conscious; it's bad to fill a burrito with shitty carbs/cals. La Taqueria is consistently voted best in the US; they do not put rice in their burritos. Why haven't others followed?

Giant mistake imo I watched endless TV (hours daily from 3p after school, thru Jeopardy at 7p with mom, thru sitcoms + dramas from 8–10p) I played copious amounts of video games from Contra to SuperMario to Madden to NHL to FinalFantasy to Zelda didnt really read til college
No worse habit in the world. I think there is a direct correlation with being overweight, lonely, single, broke and depressed. My kids will not own video game systems while in my home.
The regulatory developments in the EU related to data privacy will have foundational repercussions on the digital landscape. Enormously consequential. Yet the topic is an absolute ratings loser. When I write about it, engagement is significantly lower than in any other subject.
