Also, if your takeaway from that game was “the overtime rules are stupid,” I feel bad for you.
Solving the OT problem is easy:
The home team always wins the toss in the playoffs. Makes it a baked-in advantage instead of a game of chance.
And, they earned it.
Mahomes and Heinicke have the same agent. He must rep all the great pylon divers.
Wow. Sean McVay and Kyle Shanahan both on the verge of coaching in the conference title game.
Must be huge lament in the place that let them go.
As everybody knows, both served as offensive assistants for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers early in their careers.
@JPFinlayNBCS I guess the good news is we don’t have to worry about the Lions anytime soon?
@JPFinlayNBCS @granthpaulsen Just glad we all spent four minutes of our life deciding not to do anything with the original call, which was made in order to prompt that very review.
@BrendanDarr Is it bad that makes me want to go more? Like, if it were just a normal, well-run event at this point I’d be hugely disappointed.
@JrDubz21 @JPFinlayNBCS As of now no plans for that. Stadium and name are two separate things on their own timelines.
Just glad the Nickelodeon audience got to experience that.
For what it's worth, I think Jonathan Allen has played at an All-Pro level for the last two years, at least.
But it's very tough to make All-Pro if your team doesn't have success. Can ask Trent Williams about that.
The Washington Football Team has only had one first-team All-Pro player in the entire Dan Snyder era.
(Brandon Scherff, last year)
@reddusfoximus Ok but if somebody makes a Yankees/Duke/Lakers one I’m all-in.
During the free Friday night practice earlier this year, there were a lot of people that claimed tickets then didn't show.
The $5 (to charity, as John notes) helps get an accurate count of who's coming. twitter.com/john_keim/stat…
The team also says the FedEx Field team store will be open with "select" new merchandise right after the name reveal on 2/2/22.
@JPFinlayNBCS "Conveniently located between Maryland and North Carolina."
One bill of note in the VA senate would ban sports betting and casino companies from using the term "Virginia" in their advertising.
Sports betting was passed by a Democrat majority. This session opens with Republicans in the majority.
Virginia's annual lawmaking session, the General Assembly, starts today. There are no bills under consideration relating to a new WFT stadium. Not a huge surprise, but that means next shot is '23 in VA.
