Austin Ekeler on @greenlight: “It's not like, 'Oh, I hate the Chargers and I need to get out of this organization, and I need to leave.’ That couldn't be further from the truth. I would like to stay if it was under the right circumstances.” nfl.com/news/austin-ek…
@RapSheet @greenlight Don’t see an issue with a RB trying to get his bag while he can. The position has a short shelf life and doesn’t get paid like anyone else.
@n0t_pop @RapSheet @greenlight Dude missed his window. He’s 28 & in the last year of his deal. No one is trying to spend to lock up a running back into their 30s.
@TravisMcCain5 @RapSheet @greenlight Doesn’t mean he shouldn’t try tho, even tho I agree with you.
@n0t_pop @RapSheet @greenlight Sure. If there was a dude that is going to age well its him. From all accounts he's the strongest pound for pound dude on the team and well respected by all. Just saying he got some bad advice if he thought another bag was a foregone conclusion. Should've signed a shorter deal.
