@MattWalshBlog You are right that their argument sucks. Here is a better one. I got the vaccine and it works. Get it so we can go back to a normal life. Im not concerned about getting sick, but if people keep dying then things aren’t going to go back to normal.
@frenchie_irish @Bigtoe88 @MattWalshBlog This isn't true because even this "extremely transmissible" virus has only infected 12% of the US population thus far in 21 months. You have, in fact, had an 88% chance of not even catching Covid, up to this point (varies with your loc and demo obviously).
@frenchie_irish @Bigtoe88 @MattWalshBlog Could be. But none of us can really know. That's what the official numbers say. A much higher percentage of people I know have gotten it but I live in a large city and work at an "essential business" that's been open 100% since day 1.
@frenchie_irish @nibeck02 @MattWalshBlog True. It’s here. But, you can make it less effective
@Bigtoe88 @frenchie_irish @MattWalshBlog It doesn't seem so with currently very high transmission, way more than half vaccinated, and all of the prior infections that are highly unlikely to get it again. It doesn't even seem like the vaccines are really making a dent in transmission.
