Joe Douglas can't keep getting a pass on failing Jets tenure trib.al/n6Rp08r
@nypostsports @MarkCannizzaro Which by the way, a rebuild doesn’t take 6 years. A competent GM has a rebuilding team competing in season 2, maybe even fighting for a wild card. Joe Douglas’ Jets team look to be 2-3 seasons away from even getting a .500 record
@nypostsports Bingo. I find it unreal how many Jet fans are willing to give him a free pass year after year. Part of it is he has made some good trades, but what good are they when he blow the draft pick. The bigger aspect is his sterling reputation. Has nothing to do with gettleman though.
@nypostsports @MarkCannizzaro He has done an awful job, he was in essence brought in by Gase after the Mac ouster post draft 19’. His free agent classes; more importantly his draft classes have been abysmal, you can’t keep hanging your hat on the Adams trade; it means nothing if you don’t hit.
@nypostsports Horrible job. You draft a young QB and give him a first year Offensive Coordinator and no veteran backup.
@nypostsports @MarkCannizzaro I am another fan who has Joe D on alert. He has to get this ship righted. Good GMs would have been on the right path after that first off season with all that cap and great draft picks.
@nypostsports interesting that someone would say that after a 41 point loss
@nypostsports Agree we need to let him have more time. 2019’was not him so he is really being evaluated on 1+ seasons which isn’t enough. I’m more disappointed with coaching given the lack of motivation seen on the field Sunday. That falls on the head coach
@nypostsports He will be stuck with this team 4 more years .. I hope this FA he won’t go after bench players or players with injury pass.. cuz that’s what happen with Davis and Lawson.. but glad he finally got Flacco and keeps him till for 2 years , this would definitely help Wilson..
