my future daughter will never so much as hear me whisper a negative sentiment about my face or body from the minute she’s born
and that will be a serious expectation for everyone in her presence for that matter
@raynefq Another perspective.. it’s important to expose one’s child to some of the normal aspects of human living, after a certain age - even if u desire for the child to overcome them
@raynefq @Charlie_Carrel My children are fully aware that I feel unhealthy being a fat man. They know I don’t like walking up stairs. I don’t need to tell them anything. They see unhealthy when they see it.
@raynefq My mom telling me to go workout with her every morning at 6 am when I was like 12 before I even went thru puberty and gained actual mass cuz she was the one worried ab her weight. She also looked better than most. Hated that
@raynefq It's all about placing self value and self love on characteristics other than physical appearance. Yes I tell my daughter she's beautiful, but I also tell her she's strong, smart, sweet, funny etc... I want her to learn I value and love her for who she is, not what she looks like
@raynefq Hopefully, you have the maturity and responsibility of being an awesome mother for your child as well!
@raynefq Words have power when they are given permission to destroy the innocence of one's true worth from God!
@raynefq The internet would like to have a word with you…
