Breece Hall with his 190 scrimmage yards moves up the Jets all-time list of best YFS seasons. Hall needed 66 yds to pass Thomas Jones (1,460 in 2009). Then he passed one of Curtis Martin's big seasons (1570 in 2003). Hall sits at 1585 YFS for the year, 7th best in franch history.

And the droughts are over. Jets defeat Patriots 17-3. Green & White snap 15-gm losing streak to Pats, 12-gm losing streak @ NE. And their 14-pt margin of victory is their largest ever at Gillette, largest @ NE since 34-17 at Foxboro Stadium in 2000.

The 2-pt run doesn't count as a carry but Breece Hall's TD run was his 36th carry of the game. That's tied for 4th-most carries in a game in franch history. Top 3: Johnny Hector (40 vs NE, 1986), Adrian Murrell (40 vs CIN, 1997), Curtis Martin (38 vs ARIZ, 1999).

And Breece Hall finally breaks a big one off left end, outrunning Patriots to the EZ for a 50-yd TD run down L sideline. Breece is up to 174 rush yds, 186 YFS today as Jets go for two, ahead 15-3 lead with 1:47 left.

No sooner are we done reprising the last 2 TOs than Bailey Zappe throws dart over the middle that's batted into hands of S Tony Adams. It's not in the bank yet but Jets maintain their 9-3 lead, there's 1:57 to play and they have the ball at midfield. But Pats have all 3 TOs.

A rare gaffe by Ashtyn Davis. He intercepts Bailey Zappe, heads upfield, attempts to lateral to Sauce Gardner and loses the fumble recovered by NE T Vederian Lowe. Jets almost put a lock on this one, but first 2 turnovers of gm give NE a 1st down at their 41.

Our Jets quarterly lead check: Jets' 6-3 lead is their largest lead after 3 quarters @ NE since the early 2011 playoff gm. Jets' only other lead in last 13 gms @ Gillette Stadium was by 17-16 in 2015.

This is also Breece Hall's 3rd 100-yd rushing game of the season and the 4th of his career. And it looks as if the Jets will keep handing off to the 2nd-yr RB for the final 15 mins as the 3rd qtr comes to an end and Jets still lead Patriots 6-3.

Jets RB Breece Hall gains 6 yds on a carry to get to 101 scrimmage yards for the game. If he holds onto the ydg in this bad weather, it will be Hall's 6th 100+ YFS game of the season, most by a Jet since Brandon Marshall (10) & Chris Ivory (6) did it together in 2015.

Knock on wood but one things Jets haven't done today that is helping them hang onto the lead is get penalized. They had 10 penalties called against them for 90 yds combined in the 1st halves vs WAS and @ CLE. Today, still early 3rd qtr: 1 penalty, 5 yds.

And FWIW, Jets' 6-3 lead is their only halftime lead @ NE since the 2010 AFC Divisional Round PO game, which Jets led 14-3 at half and won 28-21--in early 2011. So largest Jets halftime lead @ NE in last 13 games. Thirty minutes left.
