@shawnmicallef @CanadaGray Sad. Clearly this is not affordable housing.
@shawnmicallef @TDotResident Wish we could impeach Ford
@shawnmicallef Yea, and we need to look to build housing on all the crappy land we have!
@shawnmicallef @BellWhitworth Lots of this happening in Hamilton and Niagara—best soil and climate for grapes and other tender fruit everywhere, best wineries and yet…sprawl. And lots of families would do just as well in townhouses or stacked condos…more affordable rental is critical. They need Greenbelt
@shawnmicallef @tomflood1 Same in Ottawa. @fordnation #NotMyPremier
@shawnmicallef But this isn't Ontario, it's Ford Nation.
@shawnmicallef Smaller municipalities too, at this point.
@shawnmicallef This is why I'm wary of people that solely look at supply as a single dimension. As it is, new "market" supply outside of urban areas looks like this. Opening up the greenbelt will just give us more of this.
@shawnmicallef 🤮🤮🤮 (re: the construction)
@shawnmicallef suburban sprawl will not help at all long term
