Q1 Where do we stand today on contract help? Internally: what are the most common business units outsourced in 2023? What about outside help: Programming, PM, Tech, etc.? Have the opportunities & "mindset" about outsourcing changed since 2019? #AVinTheAm
@chris_neto Since you are on the topic of outsourced labor. The number one reason I'll reject a new client is crazy insurance requirements. Seems the smaller the company, the more outrageous the carry requirements are. #AVinTheAM
@avlaborcorp @chris_neto I agree that the insurance requirements can be steep because the same criteria are used for all sub-contractors regardless of their role or the project size. I've handled it by countering with the insurance amounts that we have to see if they will suffice. #AVinTheAM
@stevegreenblatt @chris_neto Sorry for the late response. I've the same experience. I'll send them a copy of my most max'd out COI, knowing this is the limit of riders and addendums I am willing to pay for. It's either enough or I pass. No new client is worth a $3-5k entry fee. #AVinTheAM
