FWIW science evolves. If strong evidence is presented in favor of bioengineering, I promise to cover it. It would be super intriguing and important. Emphasis on the evidence.
@amymaxmen I haven't tried to evaluate the paper myself. I think there are a lot of biases in which papers get media coverage and which don't, and that this paper got only one or two attempts at coverage in the mainstream media, despite its seeming importance, speaks to those biases.
