@TylerAStepke @BiosafetyNow I’m not familiar with that organization. What has it done in terms of scientific research re onset of the pandemic?
@stgoldst @TylerAStepke @BiosafetyNow What have you done in terms of the FORENSIC research re the onset of the pandemic?
@levine2001 @TylerAStepke @BiosafetyNow Isn't DNA analysis a core element of forensics?
@stgoldst @levine2001 @TylerAStepke @BiosafetyNow DNA can be misused in forensics. All we know is that the animals were present at some indeterminate time, assuming they didn’t screw up the analysis due to mtDNA homology. DNA in forensics is used to prove someone was somewhere they had no other reasonable explanation to be.
@stgoldst @NUMTyDumpty @TylerAStepke @BiosafetyNow Regardless of what his name is, you would concur with his assessment of how DNA is used in forensic investigations and what it tells us (and doesn’t tell us) in this case about the animal market, yes?
@stgoldst @NUMTyDumpty @TylerAStepke @BiosafetyNow Your analysis is awful in that it fails to weigh competing theories that would be equally as likely based solely on this DNA data (and far MORE likely given the other evidence outside of DNA analysis), & it states an outright lie that the first cases were connected to the market
@levine2001 @NUMTyDumpty @TylerAStepke @BiosafetyNow I feel like you already felt that way a few tweets ago lol what are we doing here?
@stgoldst @NUMTyDumpty @TylerAStepke @BiosafetyNow Exposing the level of your analysis. The fact of who and where the first Covid cases occurred is not subject to anyone’s feelings, including my own. Either you accept the facts, or you don’t. 🤷🏻♂️
@levine2001 @NUMTyDumpty @TylerAStepke @BiosafetyNow Well I hope you feel fulfilled then.
@stgoldst @NUMTyDumpty @TylerAStepke @BiosafetyNow Actually disappointed. It’s dispiriting to discover that so many people who self-identify as scientists don’t actually know how to analyze & assess evidence properly.
