Today I made BP2CPP work in Lyra. All Blueprints in the content browser are included in transpilation process. All I had to do was click a button in the editor, wait 30sec for BP2CPP to run, then ship the project. It worked like a charm 🥳 @UnrealEngine #UnrealEngine #UE5

Mandatory reading IMO for anyone making an Unreal Engine Game on PC! Especially the intro describing how the new 5.1+ precaching approach by its lonesome is not sufficient yet to prevent all PSO stuttering. It still needs to be combined with manual PSO gather to "catch 'em all".

@cjpoppinov @moongamestudios @wickedgame With how we run our simulation at locked 60fps, as well as input sampling the game remains very responsive even when it's at 30fps. Since SteamDeck has a way to lock the refreshrate of the actual screen to those rates, you can get a very nice experience actually.

do yourself a favor and overwrite Texture2D_64.svg under Engine\Content\Editor\Slate\Starship\AssetIcons if you use sizemap. ive never touched this tool cause it makes me vomit. which is a shame, its very powerful. those who are codebased can also look at ssizemap.cpp line 750

@flassari @ramboozled4641n There's a bunch going on, but the backbone of it is UnrealEditorSubsystem->SetLevelViewportCameraInfo. "Slide" actors in the world have an interface, and I get their camera info and setting the viewport camera to those values.
