Fifteen years ago today I lost the one I loved most. My fiancé Jennifer passed away November 30, 2007 in the ICU at Harborview Med Ctr. She was 29. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss her. I love you Jenn. Always. Forever.
@tbailey1976 I am so sorry to hear about the anniversary of losing your beautiful fiance. Please tell us about her - what was she like, how did you meet?
@jpennforreal She would come into the bar I was working at after work. So I had known her for a couple of years. She had heard that I was no longer in a relationship and came into the bar to ask me out for dinner. That was May 15, 2004. We were inseparable from that day on.
@jpennforreal She has 3 beautiful children, 2 boys 1 daughter, who after she passed I helped raise with her ex-husband who I am close with. I promised her I’d do that. We all lived together until 2017. All 3 have graduated, with the youngest now in her junior year at Central WA University.
@tbailey1976 How wonderful you helped raise them and have a good relationship with their father.
@jpennforreal I spoke w/the kids today as this day is always difficult for them. They were all so young when she passed, but miss her very much. Their father, Joel is an awesome guy. A great person. He and Jenn had a great co-parenting relationship and remained good friends after divorcing.
@jpennforreal Their father Joel and I leaned on one another quite a bit after she passed. I just love the guy. He’s family. She was so happy that he and I got along so well, it was important to her. She’d tease us because we clicked instantly and enjoyed watching football together so much.
