@therugbynetwork @AllanCooper @NFL Could increase game strategy.
@therugbynetwork @NFL @PFF_Sam presume you've seen this before?
@therugbynetwork @NFL Exactly, it would break open the game.
@therugbynetwork @NFL Love the technique. As a researcher of #rugby #rugbyleague and FB - short answer: perceived risk/reward and ball possession>field position. Each backward pass is one step from a live ball fumble=turnover. Dropped forward pass doesn’t have that risk. #NRL #NFL (AMA re the topic)
@therugbynetwork @NFL Just imagine if the American college system was producing rugby players instead of football 🏈. America would be world beaters. Its a shame they don't take rugby seriously.
@therugbynetwork @NFL 💯. Being saying it for years. Imagine taking a bit and popping a ball to a bloke who can run a 10se 100m 😳
@therugbynetwork @NFL This year in the NFL, I've noticed an increase in the referee's delay of whistle if a runner, especially a RB, is making progress (advantage), especially when O-Line players can bind and drive. The #NFL playoffs have featured many such "mauls."
@therugbynetwork @NFL Handling, outside of wide receivers, just isn't good enough.
@therugbynetwork @NFL Played both. I say it all the time. They should take the pads off too.
@therugbynetwork @NFL I'm confident that given 6 months to train, the best rugby players in the world would beat any NFL team. The other way around? Never days.
