My speech and walking have improved and hospital staff are figuring out when to kick me out of here. I’m not well yet but I am better! The reaction has been amazing! Thank you!!!
I guess I should let you know that I have had two strokes over the last couple of weeks and have been in hospital since. Can’t walk or talk but am getting better very slowly! Hope to get home and back on the podcast as quick as possible!

Basically 2 straight years of chemo, 8-week bed-rest after the 1st year because of a rare side-effect in my hips, finishing grade 12 and starting first year at Western while going through chemo, having my right hip replaced, having shoulder surgery between exams at uni. Damn.
This is me on my 17th birthday at Sick Kids on June 17, 2005, just under 3 weeks after being randomly diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and starting chemotherapy on the same day, while living at the hospital. We mostly somehow smiled then, and we mostly somehow smile now.
