concern = russia appears to be having 2d wave on the heels of the one that just had denouement @Worldometers . @NewsNodes data says both with good percent omicron. worldometers.info/coronavirus/co… newsnodes.com/country/RU
@twobluecats @DrEricDing @JosephSabol Im guessing that last wave was their fall delta wave and now their omi wave is now starting
@fToRrEeEsSt @DrEricDing @JosephSabol although there was some delta in the first, @NewsNodes had reported omicron at one point 63% which would make the current one a second omicron episode.
@fToRrEeEsSt @DrEricDing @JosephSabol @NewsNodes /could be geographically separated regions within russia which would make each subregion having, en effet, twice the height (if half of population)
@twobluecats @DrEricDing @JosephSabol @NewsNodes Looking a little deeper at their mortality that last wave was for sure delta, the case/mortality ratio is consistent. Current wave started about 2 weeks & thats about their case/mortality lag so if we dont see a correlating spike in mortality this week, than my assumptions 🎯
