This is reasonably mind blowing (And I’m curious about contrary explanations for the Webb telescope data which seems to be causing big bang theorists to whimper) iai.tv/articles/the-b…
I mean I would think that it’s wildly statistically unlikely that the universe is actually precisely flat… …but maybe in adjusting for observer effect given billions of universes with all concave and convex ones having finite time of existence it could make sense?
In terms of humanity’s tech tree, I think probably important that we get this whole shape-of-space-time wrinkle ironed out before we start in on the warp drive

@wintonARK I think there are teeny tiny black holes everywhere snd the bang is constantly happening causing time
@wintonARK "It has now become almost impossible to publish papers critical of the Big Bang in any astronomical journals." 🚩🚩🚩🚩 Feels like I am reading 5G causes covid paper.
@wintonARK @BillNye @neiltyson care to explain this?!?
@wintonARK I'm not sure I trust this article. The guy writing it conveniently made these predictions back in 2014. Let's see what the consensus opinion is after greater scrutiny of the evidence. I remain skeptical for now.
