@SagasofBharat @Rainmaker1973 So called Golden Age Islam is nothing but translation Greek and Hindu literature's. When they invaded the Egypt and Persia they got treasure of knowledge, some how they managed to retain that knowledge.

@VarunGanap70366 Al-Ghazali crushed the dissent of philosophers and scientists, and moved Sufism into the centre of Islam to vindicate the orthodox. The Islamic world was turning inwards just as Europe was moving forwards. Islam was thus moving in the very opposite trajectory to modernism
