@card_guide The time I met Andre and saw him wrestle Harley Race for the NWA Championship.Harley slammed Andre on the floor and neither man could beat the 10 count back to the ring.I have had this over 40 years.
The importance of this card in Hawaii is huge. It was the first show at HIC after Francis secured the promotion rights. It was the end of a promotion feud with Aloha Wrestling (backed by Shire).

The importance of this card in Hawaii is huge. It was the first show at HIC after Francis secured the promotion rights. It was the end of a promotion feud with Aloha Wrestling (backed by Shire).

There has always been ridiculous stuff in wrestling. The difference between then and now is back then they still treated the ridiculous stuff like it was as serious as everything else on the show. Now everyone has to wink and nod & make sure you know "I don't believe this stuff"
