Better access to markets allows small producers to reliably sell more produce, with better quality and at higher prices. This encourages farmers to invest in their own businesses and increase the quantity, quality and diversity of the goods they produce.
In a year that was marked by so much tragedy and loss, the officially recorded remittance flows declined only 1.6% in 2020. This is testament to the resilience, resourcefulness and commitment of migrant workers driven by the reality of #COVID19 back home. #familyremittances
Families in rural and remote areas - where remittances are a true lifeline - battle to access cash outlets or even more convenient alternatives. Governments and the private sector need to urgently invest in rural digital infrastructure to address this. #FamilyRemittances
Estimés à plus d'1 milliard 320 millions FCFA, les travaux de construction de cette unité ont été financés à 69% par un crédit du Projet d’appui à l’employabilité et l’insertion des jeunes dans les secteurs porteurs (PAEIJ-SP) mis en place par le @GouvTg.
J’ai procédé ce 20 mai à Atakpamé à l’inauguration de l’unité de transformation du manioc en amidon de la société #NSCPA dont la mise en activité va créer 3700 emplois directs et permettre de transformer 15 000 tonnes de manioc par an.
Le consommer local repose sur la production locale que nous soutenons grâce à des projets comme le @PaeijSp . J’exhorte tous les bénéficiaires à garder le cap de la croissance. Nous sommes avec vous ! #PourLeTogo
En marge du lancement de l’unité de transformation de la NSCPA, j’ai échangé avec des bénéficiaires du projet PAEIJ-SP. Il s'agit d'entrepreneurs évoluant dans la production et la transformation de produits agricoles à qui j'ai réitéré l'engagement du @GouvTg de les accompagner.
