@BrookMishna @CMOH_Alberta We're shut down as to not overload the healthcare system. By taking things slow we give them time to get all the PPE and medical equipment they need and stagger the people coming in so it's not a flood.

I've see a lot of "Shandro must resign" tweets--and I agree. But let's remind ourselves who put Shandro in his portfolio. Same guy who lost another $4 billion of Albertans money through AIMCO, today. The root cause of the disaster is Kenney. Kenney must resign.

Last year Pincher Creek, Stettler, Sundre and Rocky Mountain House combined to teach 817 weeks (204 blocks) for medical students and residents in Alberta. As physicians step away from hospital care our capacity to train future rural physicians decreases, a compounding problem.

And so it begins. The dismantling of rural health care as communities fall like dominos. Don't forget that @shandro & @jkenney started this. Drs don't want to give up hospital work. @Alberta_UCP was warned of this outcome. Albertans deserve better.

If Kenney and Shandro are wondering why Hinshaw is so respected when they are clearly not, it’s because: 1. She knows what she’s talking about 2. She clearly cares about the health and safety of Albertans And they don’t.

Been discussing if JKenney's poor treatment of doctors during Covid has damaged him politically. Ipsos poll (Apr 8) found average approval of prov premiers to be 83%. AB rated Kenney at 67%. Lowest in Cda. Significant? I think so.
