Three times more than any other North Carolina governor. His most egregious veto? In 2019 he veto’ed The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. This bill would have required health care providers to give infants born alive after an attempted abortion the same degree of care as any other newborn of the same gestational age, with criminal penalties for failing to do so or for overt acts that kill the child.

While I sympathize with those dealing with mental health crises, this man is CLEARLY not suited to become a US Senator representing over 30 MILLION TEXANS. The job doesn’t get easier after being elected — it only gets MORE stressful. And Talarico clearly can’t handle it.
