Learn how to create access to opportunities for others when you can. E.g if someone approaches you for a job or project that you can't do (maybe you don't meet the job specification) Try to recommend your friend or sibling who has the required core competencies.

Learn HTML, CSS then move to JavaScript. - Practice & build few projects. - Time to Push your code to Github. - Time to learn any one framework or library. - Build a couple of projects and push them to GitHub. - Apply for a JOB. We developers are paid to build software.

This week: - Pick a book not related to your field. - Sign up for a free online course. - Reach out to that network. - Look up the eligibility requirements for that professional exam. - Apply for that senior role. - Let procrastination know it’s over between you two.

A mediocre developer with great soft skills. Will have a much more successful career. Then a great developer with mediocre soft skills.

Your future matters. Invest in it. Prioritise your personal and professional development. We become better when we take out time to invest in ourselves!
