i genuinely despise when a woman is sexually assaulted/harassed and the first thing y’all do is call her out for her clothes rather than questioning the man who has zero self control or respect. he’s a grown ass nigga who knows right from wrong, he knew not to grab her like that.

when you actually analyse the Mane6, the whole point of their differences is that they align and defy at the same time what you’d expect of the 3 pony species if you divide the group with one of each; —Twilight, Rainbow and Applejack —Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie

“we lost fluttershy as an earth pony in g6!—“ THE WHOLE POINT IS THAT SHE WASN’T IN TOUCH WITH THE EARTH UNTIL THE PEGASUS RACE.HER WHOLE CHARACTER IS BEING IN TOUCH WITH THE EARTH WHICH OPPOSES THE STEREOTYPICAL IDENTITY OF A PEGASUS LIVING IN CLOUDSDALE

Iman Vellani on the statement that “Gen Z doesn’t care about superhero films”: “I dont agree that Gen Z has stopped caring about superheroes. Maybe they’ve just stopped feeling obligated to show up. Our generation has grown up with an abundance of superhero stories, so perhaps the novelty has worn off -- which is natural. The bar is higher now. We’re looking for stories that feel specific & emotional -- especially in the age of AI. We want honesty from our storytellers. We want our intelligence respected. If anything, I think Gen Z responds incredibly well to superheroes when they’re treated as people first. The themes of grief, identity, legacy, belonging -- they’re timeless & will never age out. Every genre goes through cycles. Westerns did. Musicals did. Romcoms did. So the answer isn’t to abandon the genre, but to find new stories that only be told through THIS genre. At the end of the day, I think we just want these films to evolve & grow alongside their audience.” (via leagueofcomicgeeks.com/community/thre…)

Guillermo del Toro says AI is a form of 'natural stupidity' “We are on the verge of image illiteracy. We are on the verge of cinema illiteracy ... The pact between man and image is sacred, but we are in a time when that is in danger ... We are told images can be generated by artificial means. The existence of an image is not just to be there. It is to connect us, to make us feel beauty" (via @Variety)

Its funny because its not impossible to fix at all. It would take ages, and we would all be dead and future generations would replace us, but its possible still. we will never see it fixed in our life time unless we found some magic cure but we could start with nuclear power

Hackers are utterly incapable of hacking shit that would actually benefit people. Want them to hack the FAFSA to get rid of student loans?? Sorry their too busy hacking cartoon studios and threatening to release something people were already planning on watching

Hackers are reportedly already targeting ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ following the leak of ‘The Legend of Aang.’ “There’s more under the tip of the iceberg,” one hacker claimed, alleging that multiple people have access to unreleased Avatar content.

So this is how the animation industry collapses.... You know more people who work in animation are gonna lose their jobs from getting their stuff leaked, right? Do you hackers just not care about people? Do you really want to ruin people's lives?
