People use TA in crypto and it somewhat works and then they're like "Well if this works in crypto it must work in trad markets too" I think the reason why TA works in crypto is the lack of any other way to value these ponzis That's not necessarily the case in the trad world IMO

I'd say I generally agree more with the people who say "TA is a scam" over the ones who say "TA can be used everywhere" The big thing TA is really good for in my opinion is finding invalidation points to limit risk Everything beyond that is using lines to justify a bias
