Quarterbacks who avoid sacks under pressure the most (min. 100 dropbacks): Dak Prescott: 7.0% Brock Purdy: 8.2% Kirk Cousins: 9.2% Bo Nix: 9.3% Patrick Mahomes: 9.7% Prescott is on pace to match Josh Allen (2024) for the lowest pressure-to-sack ratio since 2016.

thoughts on Jayson Tatum's first game: "sometimes when you're the best player on the floor that doesn't always equal being the best teammate and he needs to be okay with being less passive & more selfish for this team to work (...) the load is different for him now." @CBSSports

Vince Carter says Jayson Tatum might not be 'the guy', per @NBAonNBC 😬 “When you lose a guy, a scorer like Jaylen Brown, I'm not going to use the word clutch, but he was a guy when Jayson Tatum was not playing well... You can rely on that guy. And tonight we saw PG be that guy,

These career losers waiting for games like this to fire these takes, then they'll be nowhere to be found when he looks like "the guy" (always has been the guy).

Tatum's overall offensive impact was solid (playmaking, screening, gravity, movement). His shooting was awful. Both things can be true.

I’m starting to think that Schotty may not give af about Dak and it’s all talk. Because how do you see your aging QB get lit up like that all night and don’t do a damn thing to stop it? greenbay was clearly trying get Dak out of the game. Then he tried to throw Dak under bus yesterday by alluding it was on Dak that he passed it so many times because of pass checks and then I said well WHO puts the pass or run checks on the call sheet. Your job as a COACH is to protect your players and sometimes save them from themselves. Dak is an ultimate competitor and wants to win. But at what COST? Reason 100 why Schotty needs to be fired. He is nothing but a HINDERANCE to Dak. Dak gotta design the plays, manage the clock, call plays, set the protection, motivate the team, set the hots, read the defense pre and post snap and throw perfect balls all night despite under pressure constantly. While his HC gets to do nothing but give excuses all day as to why his team is losing. I’m out.

.@Spags52 with @OThankKevin and @inthemageors on Dak Prescott's recent performance against the blitz: "They were sending 5, 6 and 7 (guys). He took an ever-loving meeting. He should get combat pay after that game... It's not (only on) him (to defeat) the blitz..."

Much respect to Bryan but getting fooled on a play where a safety literally starts at los as if blitzing and then comes over right in nick of time to intercept a TD, doesn’t mean your QB can’t read a defense. It means that your coach is getting out schemed. Dak didn’t play well but to say yesterday was his worst game EVER reading a defense is a huge stretch imo. And as far is if it’s the future of Dak? No he already stated he has the answers lol he was over thinking some things. Also his PC wasn’t helping him at all. Zero easy buttons. All on Dak to figure out post snap while free rushers are coming at him all night. Not a winning formula.

Bryan Broaddus says that last night was Dak's worst performance ever when it comes to reading a defense. With the struggles we've seen in recent weeks we have to ask; is this the future of Dak?

Respect you John but I disagree. Dak doesn’t design the offense and has said his favorite thing to do is play action pass. Yet we are rarely under center and in shotgun constantly this year opposed to last year. Also no motion. These are things Schotty and Dak both said they liked and did all last year. The offense has reverted to 2023 pre bye offense and 2024 offense. We don’t run ball efficiently. I think Schotty is trying to control clock with short passes instead of running this uptick in stop routes compared to last year.

I mean, how many more OCs do we need to go through where DAL spams all the different varieties of stop routes before we start to blame Dak for some of the design issues on offense? I love Dak and think Schotty is a bigger issue, but he's an issue too.

Emotional take. I get the point, but it’s directed at the wrong guy. Dak has been elite against the blitz for the last several years. You don’t just lose your cerebral skills out of thin air. The pass pro plan and protection rules are a joke. The playcalling is a joke.

@ConnorNFLDraft Ultimately, when 4, 3, 33, and 88 play well you can overcome a scheme that doesn’t provide any advantages. If even one of them play poorly (33 was fine tonight, the other 3 were bad) your playcaller does nothing to create an advantage and scheme guys open

@propunter89 @StuckCheap @1053SS He can always adjust but when your coach isn’t putting the correct personnel on the field to put you in a position to match the numbers up front it kinda negates the purpose with the type of routes they were running lol
