These were my recruiting rankings Youll notice that, conversely, Mosley was 15 spots higher than the services had him. Was a pretty big fan of his KDW has been a bit lucky with the preseason injuries to Hines and Anderson. He likely would not have featured as much if not for those, IMO. If I knew in February that all the experienced guys were to be injured, he’d have probably ranked higher, although still likely lower than his ranking in the composite

Checking in on the 2026 Recruiting Class at the half point of their freshman season Did not think this was a particularly strong receiver class from a future pro standpoint. Don’t have enough info yet to confirm or deny that presumption Think a lot of the guys with perceived

@CPeazzy We have proprietary formulas for both high school production and athleticism that give a percentile. Those data points, plus a landing spot grade, usually make up ~25-30% of a player’s score These are my rankings as recruits, which were locked in back in February

Misses: - Legree but literally no one saw this coming. I wouldn’t change my process to try to find another guy like him - Only one BYU receiver ranked lower than Glasker - Thought Burroughs could play at Clemson. Probably underestimated how bad that situation is - Should’ve dropped Mathews after the injury.

Evals I’m happy with: - At the risk of poking two fan bases, fading basically everything OU/ND do at WR currently. I’ve talked about this on plenty of shows in the past year or two. I just am not a believer in their current eval philosophies at the WR position - Although Morgan ranked somewhat high due to the athletic tools, vast range of outcomes. Think it’s likely those concerns have been proven true thus far - Guillford fade - Darby/Mosley ~ 15 spots higher than Composite

Yep absolutely. Production scores/athleticism scores are both data points that make up a portion of a recruit’s final grade. Each position has them weighted slightly differently, but for RBs about 30% of the final grade is data vs 70% tape grade. There’s actually also a landing spot score, not pictured, which provides some context on projected depth chart and staff’s track record of collegiate production/development These rankings lock in February, much like the recruiting services, so these are my final positional rankings (or at least the top 50, I ranked 110 backs for 2026) At the end of the day, unlike the services we are trying to evaluate players on future pro potential AND college production potential. So you’ll see some G6 guys much higher than their true talent may indicate if they land in a juicy situation Colors are irrelevant for anyone with an ounce of sanity, they just help me track players that had moved in my personal ranks before adding them to the consensus at @campus2canton

Checking in on the 2026 Recruiting Class at the half point of their freshman season We liked the top end of this RB class but lamented an apparent lack of high end depth overall Several guys in this class have already established themselves as significant contributors in their respective backfields Top of the class is (mostly) doing as expected #C2CRecruits2026

Yea, one of those guys that was just a miss on basically all fronts, myself included Our rankings are slightly different from the services, in that we are also attempting to project for college production so I know some (not all) of my low ranking was due to my perception of the Bama depth chart, Crowell as the better back, and DeBoer’s lack of consistent, consolidated rush share Obviously still a miss

Ones I want back: - Flip the Wake backs - Wiggins just outside the top 50 (RB58). Would be top 30 on a re-rank - Traeshawn Brown had basically no data score at the time we had to lock. Gave him a 0 for landing spot score. With updated info, think he’s higher, but not high

Lots of backs that can work their way into roles over the next year or two Overall, the class is probably slightly better than I thought with the emergence of Rule/Walton. Hoping for the other Tier 3 backs to improve over the next 2-3 years to round this class out
