The American Venus (1926) may be a lost film but the surviving trailer has a few seconds of Louise. In this slapstick scene, Louise as Miss Bayport gets rudely manhandled by Hugo Niles (Ford Sterling) as he tries to keep her from being discovered by his wife.

“Miss Brooks isn’t like anybody...she has a very definite personality. She doesn’t do much, perhaps because there isn’t much to do but probably because she hits hardest when doing nothing...but nobody looks away when she’s on screen.” — A critic on It’s the Old Army Game (1926)
