The purpose of life is to realize God within ourselves. This can be done even whilst attending to our worldly duties. Meher Baba

True wealth isn’t measured by money or possessions, but by a healthy body, peace of mind, and the presence of genuine people who bring love, happiness, and meaning to your life. — Buddha’s Wisdom

Abandon yesterday, tomorrow and today. Cross over to the farthest shore beyond life and death.

When you help someone, don’t expect anything in return. 🤍 Do it from your heart, not for recognition or favors. True kindness is helping without keeping score. What you give with a pure heart is a reflection of who you are, not who they are. 💯

@sahityareader There are people who will never know how beautiful they make the world simply by being gentle.

The Ancient Heart Before the first kingdom lifted its walls, before the gods were given names, a heart beat in the dark. It knew the fall before the ruin, the last cry before the silence. It watched the towers lean into the dust, the bronze gates rust, the names of kings fade from stone. It had watched the living bury their dead, felt the terrible silence left by a hand that would never reach for another. And still, it had known laughter. The sudden, helpless kind that escapes a room where sorrow has lived too long. The warmth of a small hand folding into its own. Rain woke the earth. A flower opened in the broken stones. The heart kept these, too. The grief. The sudden gold of being alive. Both burning in the same dark chamber, neither able to extinguish the other. Centuries passed. The heart outlived the fires, the flags, the prayers whispered over unmarked graves. And still, there was the astonishment of finding beauty where nothing should have grown. It had learnt that grief did not leave simply because joy arrived. They had lived together in that ancient chamber where one cradled the other, neither willing to surrender its place. And perhaps this was how the heart endured— not by forgetting what the world had taken, nor by closing itself against what might be lost, but by making room. For the beloved and the departed. For the wound and the hand that heals. For the tears that come without warning, and the laughter that follows them home. Until, somewhere, the ancient heart was no longer alone. It beats in the mother who kissed a sleeping child. In the old man who still set two cups upon the table. In the stranger who lit a lamp for someone and stayed. It beats in those who had buried whole worlds and risen the next morning to begin anew. Perhaps the heart had never belonged to one being. Perhaps it had always been the heart of us— carrying what we cannot keep, loving what we cannot hold, making room for sorrow without turning joy away. And after all the kingdoms, all the ashes, all the names the earth has forgotten, the ancient heart beats on.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Lao Tzu

“¿Cuánto vive el hombre, por fín? ¿Vive mil años o uno solo? ¿Vive una semana o varios siglos? ¿Por cuánto tiempo muere el hombre? ¿ Que quiere decir “para siempre”? Regresé a mi casa más viejo después de recorrer el mundo. No le pregunto a nadie nada. Pero sé cada día menos.”

We should never stop performing meritorious deeds as long as we live. Every act of kindness, every helping hand, and every moment of compassion has value. Life is impermanent, so let us do as much good as we can while we still have the opportunity.

@CreativeReader3 Not every silence needs breaking. Not every sorrow needs explaining. Sometimes love arrives quietly, with open arms ❤️

silence sometimes a great way to gather our thoughts calm our mind and don't do anything we'll regret. but silence don't make the problem go away. and if you wait to long just like dirty dishes a small thing becomes something big. but sometimes all that is needed is a hug

Everything arises and passes away. When you see this, you are above sorrow. This is the shining way.

When life seems down or confusing, remember that you are still a bright flower in a world of darkness. Rimel Neffati.

Wild Devotion I never asked you to stay. Not the first night you came out of the darkness, your amber eyes holding the moonlight like something you had no intention of surrendering. You stood just beyond my reach, all shadow, all silence, the forest still breathing through your fur. And I— I wanted to come closer. Not to tame the wildness in you. Not to teach your teeth the language of gentleness, or make your silence answer to my name. I wanted to know what it meant to be chosen by something that could leave at any moment. So I opened my hands. And waited. The night moved around us. Somewhere, an owl called. The wind passed through the trees, and you remained, watching me with those unreadable eyes. I learnt the shape of your freedom— the distance you needed, the silence you kept, the paths that called you away from me. I learnt that loving you would mean making room for all the places I could never follow. And still, when you came close, I did not ask where you had been. When you rested beside me, I did not mistake the warmth of your body for a promise. I knew the forest was yours. The moon would rise without my asking. The wind would turn. And one day, you might follow its call into the trees, your dark shape disappearing between the trunks, until even your footsteps were gone. I would not call you back. Not because I loved you less, but because I had never mistaken love for keeping. And if you stayed, if tomorrow brought your shadow to my door, I would meet you as I had that first night— with open hands, an unguarded heart, and no promise that the world would never hurt us. Only this: I would not make a cage of my longing. I would not call you mine to keep you near. You would be the wild. I would be myself. And between us, nothing held by force, nothing owed, only the quiet wonder of choosing, again, to stay.

Even when someone doubts us, it doesn't mean our possibilities disappear. The doubts of others do not determine our future. #vss365 #doubt #haiku
