الجيش الإسرائيلي يطالب العائلات في غزة بالإخلاء، فيقصف منازلهم لإجبارهم على الرحيل فيقتلهم، ثم يستهدفهم أثناء فرارهم من الموت ونزوحهم ويرتقوا شهداء، وحين يصلون إلى خيامهم في مناطق النزوح، يعاود قصفهم فيقتلهم. مشهدٌ دموي يتكرر منذ أيام. قبل قليل، تكرر هذا المشهد في الشجاعية، بعدما أجبر الجيش آلاف السكان على إخلائها تحت نيران القصف.
الطبيب اليهودي الأمريكي مارك بيرلموتر: "ثامر ممرض عظام كان في غرفة العمليات يغلق جرحاً بعد الجراحة عندما دخل جندي إسرائيلي إلى المستشفى كان يغلق جروحه. رفض ثامر، فأطلق النار على ركبته حتى أن عظام قصبة ساقه تناثرت في الغرفة. ثم نقلوه إلى سجن إسرائيلي مكبل اليدين معصوب العينين.. وقبل أن يطلقوا سراحه فجروا مقلة عينه".
إلقاء القبض على الطالبة التركية في الشارع من قِبَل رجال ونساء يخفون وجوههم، دون تقديم أوراق تثبت أنهم من سلطة الهجرة، أصاب النساء في أمريكا بالرعب. فهذا يعني أن أي رجل أو مجموعة رجال قد يفعلون الأمر نفسه مع أي فتاة في الشارع.
