JUSTBYCHRIS* wants you to see #WILDWOOD ~ to everyone who loves art especially art created by and with human hands, please watch this film! Long live Human Made Art! 🫶 Happy Wildwood release day and thank you @LAIKAStudios 🤍

I love weekends like this one. You have an R-rated body horror from DC. A 3-hour documentary that people can’t stop talking about. A tremendous dark fantasy from the wizards at LAIKA. A whimsical romantic fable that’s light and just lovely to experience, and a fun cat-and-mouse thriller featuring the great Helen Mirren. All different, all Certified Fresh. Good stuff to watch no matter what your vibe is. When we’re complaining about Hollywood and complaining about how nothing feels fresh or unique, let’s remember weekends like this still exist. And let’s get out there to support these films so weekends like this continue to exist in the future.

#YouCanSeeEverything truly needs to be seen to be believed. I don’t even know where to begin with this. A fascinating documentary about perception and performance. STUNNING cinematography.

One of the most fascinating, enthralling and truly unique pieces of filmmaking I have ever seen. I am genuinely in shock. The hype is real #YouCanSeeEverything

I knew that #YouCanSeeEverything would be brilliant. And innovative. And wildly entertaining. And shocking. But I didn't anticipate how deeply thought-provoking and nuanced it would be. It whole-heartedly deserves to become the 1st doc to be nominated for Best Picture.

Without spoiling anything: it’s an absolute fucking masterpiece #YouCanSeeEverything

Just saw #YouCanSeeEverything and I AM GOBSMACKED. Bravo, @nathanfielder! I’ve never seen anything so simultaneously eerie and hilarious in my entire life. #NathanFielder 👏

#YouCanSeeEverything completely knocked my socks off! Absolutely captivating from start to finish. An experience that demands you soak in every moment packed with several twists, turns, and surprises. Hilarious and heartbreaking. One of the best films of the year no question!

JJ Watt got inducted into the Houston Sports Hall of Fame this evening and his plaque was unveiled that will be on GreenStreet in downtown. 1 of the greatest defensive players of all time & arguably the greatest Houston Texan of all-time gets his rightful honor in this city.

One of a kind. Congrats @JJWatt

The name. The return. The Houston Comets are BACK, and the WNBA is coming home to H-Town. Don’t miss what’s next. GO COMETS GO! ☄️

there's something magical about going to see an original film you can't stop thinking about afterwards because it switches something on in your brain so you either want to go back & experience it again or you actively seek movies that will affect you similarly. wonderful feeling.

Digger (2026)

how it felt walking out of Digger

This scene alone deserves an Oscar for actor, directing, and cinematography

Holy shit. Digger is incredible. A zany, meta satire that blends genres and explores multiple relevant issues. There's a remarkable amount of thematic density that can be dug into with questions on, not just, the state of the world, but on art and humanity. It's a must watch.

Listen. #Digger is a divisive movie that won't be fully appreciated for years down the road. It's a love it or hate it movie with no in between. And you can count me as one of the people who unabashedly LOVED every goddamn second of this wild, stimulating, brilliant, batshit crazy, way the fuck on out there, touching, and, ultimately, heartbreaking movie. TOM CRUISE DESERVES A BEST ACTOR NOMINATION FOR DELIVERING THE GREATEST PERFORMANCE OF HIS CAREER. The work he brings you throughout this movie is nothing short of transformational. And there's a monologue he gives at a world parliament scene that might be the greatest scene of the year! Iñárritu has directed his best movie since Birdman and it's a genius of a film with a script that packs one helluva punch. Yes, it's this generation's Dr. Strangelove, BUT with a challenging, and satisfying, set of twists that even turns that assessment on its head. The rest of the cast is fantastic with John Goodman, Riz Ahmed, Sandra Huller and Jesse Plemons as standouts. Goodman should get serious consideration for a Best Supporting Actor nom. The cinematography, the score, and the sound design stick with you as well. Overall, it's a phenomenal and GUTSY mix of real world drama, WTF humor, and total madness with a script that delivers commentary by stealth bomber and machine gun. It had me in its grasp from moment one and it never let me go.

Wow #Digger is insane. It's not what you think. It's like a Wes Anderson movie had sex with a Coen Brothers film on the set of Twelve Monkeys. The production design was sublime. Tom Cruise and John Goodman were off the charts. It's Art, and as such some will love it and some hate it. It's a huge swing for Alejandro Iñárritu. Go see it before you read about it.

I cannot stressed without spoiling what I just truly witnessed is one of the most wildly ambitious chaotic heavy handed swings by Iñárritu in #DIGGER and that shows why it is divisive. Tom Cruise and his infamous speech will go down as one of the most talked and executed performances you will ever see! I think this film will grow on me the more I think about it.
