We absolutely did not CHOOSE to not travel. There were circumstances beyond our control. As far as Authorisation Letters are concerned, we’ve been ready to travel since 9 months now, the only thing lacking is that piece of paper. Sadly, your statement is incorrect @CitImmCanada

There you have it! COPR documents are NOT valid for a year. In fact, some COPRs are valid for even less than a month. @CitImmCanada takes almost 7-9 months to process an application & the applicants get only a few weeks to travel before their documents expire. @RaquelDancho

Hundreds of us with expired COPR in Nigeria has been impacted negatively in an unspeakable dimensions. You will weep if you hear what people are going through now. This is therefore an SoS call for immediate AL or COPR extension to all affected. Stop selective approval.

@JennyKwanBC It's good to see that at least someone from a stature like yours think about us- people with expired CoPR. More than 8 months our life is in limbo, we are sort of refugee in our own country wherein we've closed all the possible associations. Plz help us to relieve our pain🙏🙏

Extremely thankful to @JennyKwanBC for capturing #ExpiredCOPR holders’ pain in such detail! A shocking statistic is that out of over 15k expired COPR holders, ONLY 0.7% were issued the Auth Letter until Oct. If this doesn’t make you act, we don’t know what will @marcomendicino

The fundamentals of running a successful and efficient process is to have ZERO backlogs. @CanadainIndia @CitImmCanada issuing new PPRs is evidence of their faulty, inefficient system. New PPRs are being issued while #ExpiredCOPR files are getting neglected. WE DESERVE ANSWERS!
