@AlexEdgerton People ask differently of Tesla than Porsche, though. When screen dashes, hybrid 911s, and a bottom line of EVs came, profit tanked by 92%. @haridigresses MB, saying the ID.R went "Racing" is not really accurate. It mostly did lap times and hillclimbs. FE battery life can sustain Grand Prix racing nowadays, to my EE-student awe, but the best marathon-esque race cars run brake-regeneration hybrids and even diesels in the early 2010s

@haridigresses Tesla pioneered EV perf w/ Plaid but never did racing like VW's IDR. He doesn't care about the track; more HP & 0-60 to move muscle to EV was the point. Thiel mindset accelerationists probably say the passion/soul of track racing is old-fashioned & keeping us behind lol
