1/ In many Emergency Departments: Undifferentiated patients walk in ACP/ANP/PA assesses, investigates, treats, and send them home without consulting any doctor. This is exactly what a doctor does in medical practice.

It is also no surprise that the UK is the second most sought after place after the US for medical graduates to emigrate to. With the US looking like a potentially closing door, it’s never been more important to implement UKGP before the intake now doubles overnight…
There is nothing stopping doctors applying to be ACPs. Better pay. Better training. Security of workplace. And all for less responsibility or risk that a doctor holds. We should all be flooding these posts with applications.

I actually cannot believe there are colleagues out there who so entirely misunderstand the role of a doctor (and in particular PICU registrars) that they feel sufficiently confident to post absolute codswallop like this online
