For 70 years, we were told plastic was safe because it doesn't react with anything. Nature just published proof that it does. And the trigger is water. Researchers at Columbia University and UC Berkeley took six of the most common plastics on Earth. Polyethylene. Polypropylene. Polystyrene. PVC. PET. Acrylic. The stuff in your water bottles, food containers, pipes and packaging. They ground them into microplastics and dropped them into plain water. Nothing else. No sunlight. No chemicals. Just plastic and water. And the water started changing. At the surface of every single plastic, it began producing hydroxyl radicals. One of the most reactive and destructive molecules in chemistry. All six plastics did it. Every one. To prove it, they added a yellow dye to water with polystyrene. Over 10 days, nearly 90% of the dye was destroyed. The water turned almost clear. In other liquids, the dye survived. Only water made the plastic active. In plain English: The plastic isn't leaking a toxic chemical. It is turning the water around it into something that attacks. Then they tested what that does to living things. DNA and proteins got pulled onto the plastic surface like magnets. Proteins started clumping together. And red blood cells that touched the particles were torn into broken fragments. But here is the twist. The most dangerous plastics were the ones we trusted most. Polyethylene and polypropylene, the "safe" plastics in bottles and food containers, were the most reactive of all. The effect was weaker in blood serum. But it was still there. And microplastics have already been found in human blood, brains, placentas and arteries. The lead researcher said it plainly: "Water is a key active player here, rather than just a spectator." We spent decades asking what chemicals leak out of plastic. Nobody thought to ask what plastic does to the water inside us. How many times have you sipped from a plastic bottle today?

L’unità italiana è stata logorata dalla privatizzazione delle aziende pubbliche, dal competitivismo neoliberale negli ospedali, nelle scuole, nelle università, istituzioni oggi rivolte sempre meno al servizio del cittadino e sempre più alle gare a premi per ottenere premietti ministeriali. La prevalenza della competizione sulla cooperazione, tra istituzioni, e dentro di esse ha spostato enormi risorse dal “servire i cittadini” all’“essere attrattivi”, dal “fare bene” all’“apparire fighi”. Queste e un’infinità di altre porcate le avete volute voi, atlantisti filoamericani, mercatisti neoliberali. Chi ritiene che ciò che sta avvenendo nelle enclavi nordafricane spagnole sia un qualcosa di spontaneo è nel migliore dei casi molto ingenuo. Ed a questo proposito suggerisco la lettura del testo di Kelly Greenhill (già consigliera di diverse agenzie governative USA) "Weapons of Mass Migration" , ampiamente citato anche sul numero 4/2016 di "Eurasia. Rivista di studi geopolitici" dall'emblematico titolo "Migrazioni o invasioni?". Tra l'altro, non è la prima volta che la Spagna subisce questo genere di pressione. Tuttavia, in questo caso, la volontà di destabilizzare il governo Sanchez (sicuramente criticabile sotto molti aspetti, ma "colpevole" di non essersi totalmente piegato alla volontà di Trump e soci sull'Iran) sembra evidente. Ricordiamo in questo senso anche diverse "inchieste" ad orologeria della magistratura spagnola che assomigliano tanto ad una prassi utilizzata anche in Italia (non a caso, anche noi subimmo una guerra, quella contro la Libia, volta soprattutto alla distruzione degli accordi di cooperazione con il Paese nordafricano ed alla trasformazione dello stesso in un buco nero geopolitico ostaggio di bande criminali). Inutile dire che, in Libia, l'Italia abbia subito la peggiore sconfitta dal 1943 in poi, complice anche il governo Berlusconi che cadde poco dopo sotto la pressione delle agenzie di rating. Ma questo è un altro discorso. Interessante anche il fatto che il Partito spagnolo di opposizione "Vox", membro dei cosiddetti "Patriots" (il gruppo trumpista nel Parlamento europeo) abbia a lungo ricevuto finanziamenti dall'organizzazione terroristica MeK (iraniana ma ostile alla Repubblica Islamica), che da tempo attua operazioni di lobbying nei Paesi europei. Il referente italiano dell'organizzazione è Giulio Terzi, vicino a Fratelli d'Italia. Per chi non lo conoscesse, il MeK, dopo aver svolto un ruolo di rilievo nella Rivoluzione, arrivò allo scontro aperto con Khomeini, fino ad unirsi all'Iraq di Saddam nel corso di quella che Iran è ricordata come "guerra imposta" o "sacra difesa". Il MeK è di fatto responsabile della morte di migliaia di civili iraniani. Oggi è una sorta di setta pseudo-religiosa che ha base in Albania, sotto la protezione di quello stesso governo che sta cercando di svendere il proprio territorio a Kushner e soci. Sul Marocco è d'uopo ricordare la sua stretta cooperazione con Stati Uniti e Israele (è parte integrante degli "accordi d'Abramo), sebbene il sovrano cerchi di mantenere una linea geopolitica "multilaterale" (ad esempio, non mancano gli accordi commerciali con la Russia). In conclusione, sarebbe altrettanto opportuno ricordare che la famiglia Netanyahu (padre e figlio), ormai da diversi anni, continua ad "augurarsi" una nuova invasione islamica della Spagna. Calenda, il pagliaccio. Per più di un anno, ho subìto gli insulti di Carlo Calenda senza reagire. Ho subito in silenzio gli “shitstorm” periodici di questo personaggio patetico che usa persino le foto dei suoi familiari nei momenti privati per raccattare qualche like in più su Facebook. Calenda è arrivato addirittura ad attaccare la Partita del Cuore per la mia convocazione nella nazionale dei giornalisti, in un post del 14 luglio 2026, che ha generato una nuova campagna di insulti contro il sottoscritto. Non ho risposto per più di un anno agli insulti di questo pagliaccio, sperando che la smettesse, ma oggi sono costretto a replicare perché in molti hanno ripreso a insultarmi, credendo che le ultime affermazioni false di Azione sul mio conto siano vere. Incredibile a dirsi, Calenda è un leader di partito che insulta e diffama i cittadini italiani, organizzando contro di loro campagne di odio sui social usando un intero partito: iscritti, dirigenti, parlamentari e canali social ufficiali. Ecco i fatti. In data 28 luglio 2026, una parlamentare di “Azione” ha pubblicato un documento per conto del partito, con i loghi ufficiali, interamente costruito sulla menzogna, in cui attribuisce al mio ultimo articolo per il Fatto Quotidiano, pubblicato nella medesima data, cinque affermazioni inesistenti, per poi etichettarmi come “propagandista del Cremlino” sulla base di frasi da me mai scritte. In primo luogo, non ho mai scritto che il Trattato sullo stato finale della Germania contenga un vincolo giuridico alla non espansione della NATO. I parlamentari di Azione, usando un documento con il logo del partito, mi attribuiscono di averlo scritto nel mio articolo del 28 luglio 2026, ma è falso. In secondo luogo, il documento falso di Azione cita un’intervista del 2014 in cui Gorbaciov afferma che il tema dell’allargamento della NATO non è mai stato affrontato durante i mesi delle trattative per la riunificazione della Germania, senza sapere che Gorbaciov è stato smentito dalla documentazione desecretata in anni recenti: Gorbaciov discusse eccome il tema dell’allargamento della NATO in quel periodo. Ne discusse anche il ministro degli Esteri della Repubblica Federale Tedesca, o Germania Ovest, Hans-Dietrich Genscher, come documento nel mio prossimo libro che uscirà il 6 ottobre 2026, intitolato: "NATO: l'espansione verso la Russia. Dalla riunificazione della Germania alla guerra in Ucraina, 1990-2022". In terzo luogo, non ho mai scritto la frase che Azione mi attribuisce falsamente come da foto allegata: “Se l’Ucraina entra nella NATO, ospiterà automaticamente le bombe nucleari americane”. Il problema dell’ingresso dell’Ucraina nella Nato, in ultima istanza, è il problema dell’avvicinamento delle testate nucleari statunitensi alla Russia. I modi principali sono due. In primo luogo, l’apparato intellettuale della Nato, la parte più corrotta del sistema dell’informazione, manipola gli italiani affermando che il problema della presenza delle armi nucleari Usa in Ucraina non esiste perché la Nato non ha mai discusso il loro schieramento in quel Paese martoriato. In realtà, la Nato non discute mai queste questioni con i cittadini. Gli Stati Uniti hanno trasferito in Italia alcune delle loro testate nucleari più avanzate nel marzo 2025, ma Guido Crosetto non ne ha mica discusso con gli italiani. Sono state trasferite e basta. Giorgia Meloni ha serrato le labbra su questo tema fino a farle sanguinare. Se l’Ucraina entrasse nella Nato, l’apparato intellettuale della Nato direbbe che Kiev può ospitare tutte le bombe che vuole sul proprio territorio. In secondo luogo, l’apparato intellettuale della Nato manipola gli italiani confondendo le loro idee sulla sicurezza internazionale. Il tentativo di mantenere un’intera popolazione nell’infantilismo intellettuale, con slogan del tipo: “Ogni Stato fa quello che gli pare”, è una forma di manipolazione dell’opinione pubblica. Orbene, l’essenza della sicurezza internazionale non risiede nella lotta contro i pericoli reali, ma nella difesa dai pericoli potenziali. Entrando nella Nato, l’Ucraina potrebbe ospitare le armi nucleari americane. Ma se la Russia voleva prevenire questa possibilità nella Germania dell’Est nel 1990, come potrebbe accettare un simile pericolo potenziale in Ucraina nel 2026, dominato da tecnologia militare avanzatissima? Gli Stati Uniti e la Russia fanno a gara da decenni a chi arriva prima: è una gara a porsi nella condizione di colpire prima di essere colpiti. Se gli Stati Uniti possono condurre un attacco nucleare più rapidamente, la Russia è praticamente spacciata e deve vivere in una condizione di sottomissione permanente. For a while now, while the conversation was focusing on Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as the Muslim countries on the periphery of the Iran war (in which SA is now directly involved), I was constantly thinking about Turkey and feeling that it was the dangerous and treacherous regional actor Iran should be worried about. The fact that Trump has been obviously grooming Erdogan for some insidious purpose on behalf of Israel only aroused my suspicion: Trump is a full Israel puppet, and his entire foreign and domestic policy is dictated by it. Every single piece of it, including ICE and everything else (which is why the Democrats don't fight any of it: they, too, work only for Israel). Erdogan pretending to quarrel with Israel over symbolic nonsense while Trump pretends to quarrel with Israel over the sale of F-35s to Turkey turned my suspicion into a feeling of certainty: they were working on making Turkey help their regional aspirations; I only didn't know the precise role they reserved for it. Now, after Ukraina hit an Iranian ship in the Caspian Sea, and with Netanyahu and Zelensky at the White House together, I think I get it. Turkey is the missing link in the Zionist-American desire to connect the wars and topple both Iran and Russia. It is the massive rock the colonizer can hurl at the two countries. And what they probably got Erdogan to agree to is help them go after Russian and Iranian strategic assets in the Caspian Sea, either directly or through influencing his close ally Azerbaijan, opening a new front to distract and hurt Russia and Iran. He may have agreed to assist them in the Black Sea, from which drones can be fired into the Caspian Sea with ease (less than 1,000 kilometers separate the two). This also explains the sudden interest Zionists and Trump's family recently found in Kazakhstan, another major Caspian Sea player. This also directly involves China as well, as a major trade route connecting Europe and Central Asia goes through the Caspian Sea. And this fits the American way of fighting wars through proxies perfectly: except it is not Pakistan that's joining next, it is Turkey. I would bet ib Saudi and UAE money financing this effort as well. Some of these companies ended up paying an effective tax rate under 1 percent. In some cases as low as 0.001 percent. On billions of dollars. Who was running Luxembourg for almost 20 years while this machine was built and protected? Jean-Claude Juncker, Prime Minister of Luxembourg until 2013. Deltour did not leak straight to the world. In 2012 he passed the documents to French journalist Edouard Perrin, who used them for a TV documentary. PwC noticed and filed a complaint with the Luxembourg courts. Then in November 2014, ICIJ @ICIJorg pulled together over 80 journalists across more than 30 media outlets in 26 countries and published the full scale of it as LuxLeaks. The timing could not have been worse for Juncker, or depending how you look at it, could not have been better. He had just been elected President of the European Commission days before the story broke. The man who ran the tax haven for two decades was now running Europe. A month later ICIJ dropped LuxLeaks 2, showing the other Big 4 accounting firms Deloitte, EY and KPMG were running the exact same playbook. This was never one bad apple. It was standard practice. Juncker faced a no confidence vote in the European Parliament over it. He survived. Deltour was not so lucky. December 2014, Luxembourg charges him with theft, violation of trade secrecy and fraudulent access to a computer system. He is facing up to 5 years in prison and a fine of 1,250,000 euros. For opening an unlocked folder on his way out the door. April 2016, the criminal trial. Deltour and his colleague Raphael Halet, another former PwC employee who leaked a second batch of documents, are both convicted. Deltour gets 12 months suspended and a 1,500 euro fine. Perrin the journalist is acquitted. Deltour appeals. Loses. Appeals again. Finally in May 2018 the Luxembourg Court of Appeal fully recognises him as a genuine whistleblower under European Court of Human Rights standards and acquits him completely. Halet's fight took even longer. He lost his Luxembourg appeals and only won at the European Court of Human Rights Grand Chamber in 2023, nearly a decade after he first spoke up. The European Commission that Juncker went on to lead never opened a single formal investigation into a single LuxLeaks tax ruling. Not one. It did chase Starbucks, Fiat and Amazon over separate deals, but the mountain of paperwork Deltour handed over sat there untouched. So that is the LuxLeaks story. Build a tax avoidance machine for 20 years and get promoted to run the continent. I am not asking you to hate America. I am asking you to read the sentences above without looking away, and then tell me, with a straight face, that the question is whether to believe them.

We can predict the results, because every neocon “victory” is identical: huge numbers of innocent people killed, disproportionately Christians, economic destruction, famine, mass migration and deepening authoritarianism at home. That’s what they’re demanding because that’s what they want. What can we do to stop it? Apparently not much. But we can remember what happened and why, so that history records the truth. Otherwise, when the war ends in disaster, as it inevitably will, Ben Shapiro will be able to blame you for it.
