All in all not the display the team had hoped for but we must go again as the league is back next week. Congrats to @FintanFC on reaching the 3rd round.

A Mike Moran cross found the head of Scott Russ who finished neatly into the bottom corner, it didn't manage to spark anything though as Fintan found a 4th goal. Scott Russ did manage to get a 2nd after a pass from Matt Hill but the game ended 4-2.

Match Review: Fintan Firsts 4 King's Fc 2 It was a difficult afternoon for the lads who struggled to get any kind of control of the game. The first half ended goalless with Fintan mostly on top without troubling the keeper while Gareth Bee spurned 2 good chances for Kings.

Match Preview: @FintanFC vs King's Fc League Cup R2 Date: 30/10/21 Venue: KGV KO Time: 14:00pm We meet Fintan 2 weeks after our enthralling league encounter which ended in a narrow defeat. The lads will be looking to exact some revenge and go on a cup run.

The lads couldn't hold out as Fintan found a winning goal with a good run and finish. Overall a great effort by the lads and should stand us in good stead for the rest of the season if we can keep that level of performance up. Paul Scaler and Scott Russ were stand out performers

It was level after a great long ball from John Edwards to Scott Russ who used his pace to get in ahead of the defence and a mix up left the keeper stranded allowing the Kings player to loft the ball into an empty net.
