@Rich_Ships @thegeneralboard @Drachinifel For Bismarck, the forward control position had a 220mm armoured duct, the aft position had 50mm, and the primary aloft position had 14mm. It was, however, a single duct. The design apparently prioritised easy accessibility for cable replacement to the primary duct.

@Rich_Ships @thegeneralboard @Drachinifel KGVs aft DCT had a single 37mm cable trunk. The tertiary position, B turret, obviously ran the cables within the barbette.

Privileged to have known people so willing to send themselves into hell in order to help others. Devastating that they made the ultimate sacrifice in doing so. Rest in peace, gents.

@mldw235 @SimonFoxWriter Asylum applications are judged on the basis of one’s home country, it’s irrelevant that a displaced person travels via France or any other country, to get to the UK, to apply for asylum.

@SimonFoxWriter It’s not the same. The UK has signed a treaty agreeing that irregular entry, for purpose of claiming asylum,will be tolerated.
