We have been welcoming John in to class as part of @soundtrap sessions. We have been experimenting with beats and different features of music making.
We welcomed Mrs Milligan into school to create lanterns with us. We can use these as part of the town's 'Festival of Light' in early October.
We also studied another piece of art, this time by Nick Rowland. He created a volcano explosion, so gave it a go and thought about different techniques of adding paint to the page.
As part of our topic, 'Natural Disasters', we studied a famous piece of art called 'The Great Wave' by Hokusai. We created our own interpretations.
At the start of the month, we took part in the annual Flower Show. The class were to write in their best handwriting and create a famous person. Well done everyone!
