Silicon Valley billionaires are calling Bitcoin dead again. Jason Calacanis said the same thing when $BTC was $3,700. Now the argument is that AI makes Bitcoin irrelevant. I think they've got it completely backwards. AI could create millions of autonomous economic actors that need to transact, settle payments, and store value without relying on traditional banking infrastructure. Stablecoins solve the payments problem. Bitcoin offers something different... It's scarce, neutral digital capital. The irony? The same people betting on AI replacing everything are dismissing the financial infrastructure AI could actually need. I think we're still incredibly early.
