Police blocking entrance to the office while a group remains inside. Landlord and management were escorted out by the police and have left the building. We are not leaving until our neighbour gets back to her unit

Thorncliffe Park tenants on rent strike disrupted an @OntarioCofC event last week that @NorthcrestDev CEO Derek Goring was participating in. Northcrest is a subsidiary of our landlord PSP Investments. Tenants pressed our demand that PSP withdraw the AGIs at our buildings.

After tenants in 25 Cougar Ct launched a campaign to halt Starlight/@MetCapLivingMgt's 5.5% rent increase, 12 tenants received harassing phone calls claiming to be from MetCap. Starlight/MetCap thinks they can stop tenants from organizing, but neighbours are stronger than ever.
