A German doctor who saved wounded soldiers was buried in Ukraine A medic from #Germany Diana Savita Wagner (call sign Snake) worked in the frontline areas with injured military personnel. She came to #Ukraine even before the full-scale invasion, learned Ukrainian and wanted to stay in the country. When the war started, Wagner voluntarily joined the #AFU. On January 30, Diana was killed near Svatovo while rescuing Ukrainian soldiers. Her funeral was held on February 14, Valentine's Day, in St. Michael's Church in Kyiv. Military personnel from her unit and family members bid her farewell.

Elon Musk jure que SpaceX n'a jamais vendu un seul terminal à la Russie Février 2024 : le renseignement militaire ukrainien (GUR) intercepte des conversations radio des envahisseurs. Des terminaux Starlink sont installés dans des unités de la 83ᵉ brigade d'assaut aérien russe. Dans un échange publié par Kyiv, un soldat lâche : "Starlink fonctionne". Musk réagit aussitôt sur X : les affirmations d'une vente à la Russie sont « totalement fausses ». SpaceX précise que son service n'est « pas actif en Russie » et que les magasins russes qui le prétendent "escroquent leurs clients". Sauf que personne n'accuse SpaceX de vendre directement à Moscou. Les kits passent par des circuits parallèles et des pays tiers - Dubaï est cité, avec des comptes autorisés. Une source militaire ukrainienne le dit au média Defense One : « Les Starlink sont achetés via des tierces parties. Je suis étonné qu'ils ne l'aient pas fait plus tôt. » Preuves sur les réseaux : la bénévole moscovite « Katia Valia » filme fièrement ses stocks de terminaux Starlink collectés pour l'armée russe. D'autres images montrent des soldats déballant les kits, étiquette « fragile » sur le carton. Starlink, c'est un réseau fermé : SpaceX est maître de sa constellation de satellites. Un terminal ne capte rien tant que la société n'a pas activé l'abonnement lié à ce terminal. Sans SpaceX, pas de connexion, point. SpaceX n'a peut-être pas vendu Starlink à l'armée russe, mais les Russes l'utilisent quand même ....et Musk a pris tout son temps pour prendre des mesures pour bloquer ces terminaux. Many of these Ukrainian guys who returned home from Russian captivity in today's latest prisoner exchange had been held in enemy dungeons since 2022. Marines who defended Mariupol back then... it feels like an entire era of the world ago. Among them are five guys who had previously been believed killed in the mass murder of Ukrainian POWs at the Russian concentration camp in Olenivka. I am so incredibly proud of our people. The greatest and most heroic nation in the world today.

Elon Musk claims that Ukraine allegedly violated Starlink's terms of use and used the system on combat drones. As someone who was inside the process at the Ministry of Defense, I can say with certainty that this is not true. In February of this year, whitelists were introduced.

Russian paramilitary operative Olga Ivanovna Kulygina was an integral part of the surprise invasion of eastern Ukraine in April 2014, according to research by the Free Russia Foundation published in 2023. Olga’s combat experience dates to the 1992 Transnistrian War, when she was just 20 years old. She participated ostensibly as a humanitarian aid worker, but was later described as a combatant by Alexandr Borodai, her close associate and self-proclaimed prime minister of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Before the fighting began in 2014, she was already in the city of Sloviansk under cover as an expert in management theory from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in Moscow. She was photographed leading a squad-sized element of separatists on the ground by Pierre Crom. Sources vary as to whether she is affiliated primarily with the FSB or the GRU. Olga was captured by Ukrainian forces a month later while attempting to transport arms and cash from Russia into the Donbas region. But Russia-backed separatists played hardball to get her back quickly, filming a mock execution of two captured Ukrainian officers and soon trading back at least 17 prisoners in exchange for Olga. After the exchange, Olga appeared in the town of Siversk where she took over the city hall and repurposed a local club as a military hospital before moving on, according to the Kyiv Post. By the following year she was a senior member of the Union of Donbas Volunteers, comprised of veterans of the Donbas conflict. When Russia invaded Ukraine again in February 2022, UDV personnel went into Ukraine as paramilitaries conducting reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, and direct-action missions. In June 2022, the US Department of Treasury sanctioned the UDV as a whole and identified Olga along with fifteen others by name as participating in the war in Ukraine. As of September 2022, according to the Russian publication Gazeta Metro, she was serving as a paramedic with GROM battalion inside of Ukraine. #ukraine #donbas #donetsk #russia #treasury

Cet effort de la CIA et de son patron cache pourtant une réalité plus inquiétante pour le renseignement américain : ils sont nombreux à ne pas vouloir servir une administration dont ils sont convaincus qu'elle nuit aux intérêts des Etats-Unis : "Bien que la CIA ne communique pas de chiffres concernant ses effectifs, des agents actuels et anciens m’ont confié n’avoir jamais connu, au cours de leur carrière, un nombre aussi élevé de départs à la retraite et de démissions. Certains sont même partis alors qu’ils étaient sur le point d’obtenir une promotion importante. Les postes à responsabilité laissés vacants pourraient devoir être pourvus par des agents moins expérimentés."
