I am pleased to share that the latest issue of The Rest: Journal of Politics and Development has now been published. With the publication of this issue, The Rest successfully completes its 16th year of continuous publication, reaffirming its commitment to providing an international platform for rigorous and policy-relevant scholarship in International Relations, Politics, Security, and Development Studies. This issue features a diverse collection of research addressing key questions in international politics, security, development, and global affairs. I am particularly delighted to present the opening article by Professor Nicholas J. Wheeler (University of Birmingham) and Professor Phil Williams (University of Pittsburgh), “Surviving the Unmanageable: Nuclear Crises in the Twenty-First Century.” Their contribution offers an important perspective on one of the most pressing challenges in contemporary International Relations.
